Today, I sent in my acceptance of the Department of State's offer to join the U.S. Foreign Service. I will be joining the 167th A-100 class as a Consular Officer, and am looking forward to it. For those interested in the process, my timeline was as follows:

7/2011: QEP/SCNL Test
12/2011: FSOA
Raw score: 5.8 (+ SCNL bonus points of 0.4)

3/2012: May Offer
I simply wouldn't be here without my unbelievably wonderful husband, and my amazingly supportive family and friends. Feeling lucky and grateful, and ready for this life adventure. Quite surreal.
